A law firm is seeking a highly skilled Senior Immigration Attorney to join their dynamic team in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Duties:

• Provide strategic legal advice on immigration matters, explaining complex concepts to clients and presenting actionable solutions.
• Represent clients in both detained and non-detained removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA).
• Manage a caseload efficiently while maintaining high-quality client service and meeting deadlines.
• Conduct intakes and represent detained individuals at immigration detention centers.
• Prepare and file a wide range of immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based immigration petitions.
• Review and adjust immigration application packets as necessary.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community organizations to address changes in immigration law.
• Conduct strategic consultations with potential clients, determining the best course of action for each case.
• Develop case strategies and assist clients in preparing for court hearings and USCIS interviews.
• Provide legal analysis to identify any potential benefits or solutions for clients.
• Prepare and submit legal briefs for various immigration cases.

Requirements:

• 5-8 years of experience in immigration law, with a strong background in handling diverse immigration cases.
• Proven track record of managing a substantial caseload effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Experience with family-based petitions, humanitarian cases, EOIR (Executive Office for Immigration Review), detained cases, citizenship applications, and other USCIS-related matters.
• Familiarity with immigration case management software is preferred.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the State Bar.

Certifications:

• Admitted to practice law in the state of California.
