A law firm is seeking a highly experienced Senior Associate Family Law Attorney to manage a wide range of family law cases. This position is ideal for a driven attorney with a passion for advocating for clients in family law matters, such as divorce, custody disputes, and spousal support. The role includes leading cases, mentoring junior attorneys, and contributing to the firm’s overall development.

Location:

Duties:

  • Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and property division
  • Conduct thorough legal research, analyze case law, and develop strategic legal approaches
  • Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, orders, and briefs
  • Advocate for clients in court, negotiations, and mediation proceedings
  • Provide legal counsel to clients, addressing concerns and answering questions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure smooth case progression
  • Perform additional legal duties as required

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in family law practice
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local laws related to family law
  • Ability to handle a high caseload and meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective negotiation and client advocacy skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:
