Business Tax Associate Attorney

International tax experience is advantageous. • Duties:

  • Conduct research and provide legal advice on business tax matters, including corporate taxation, mergers & acquisitions, private equity, and partnerships.
  • Draft and review tax-related documents, including agreements, tax opinions, and disclosures.
  • Assist in tax planning and structuring for domestic and international transactions.
  • Analyze and interpret tax laws, regulations, rulings, and court decisions.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and tax professionals to provide comprehensive client solutions.
  • Represent clients in tax audits, administrative appeals, and litigation matters.

• Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience practicing law, focusing on business tax.
  • Experience in general corporate taxation, mergers & acquisitions, private equity, and partnership taxation.
  • Admission to the New York State Bar is required.
  • LL.M. in Taxation is preferred.
  • Strong academic credentials from a reputable law school.
