Job Overview: A law firm seeks a Mid-Level Class Action Associate Attorney to join their team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will possess a strong litigation background focusing on class action defense, complex commercial litigation, securities, and consumer litigation. They should have exceptional communication skills and the ability to produce high-quality work within deadlines.

Duties:

  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.
  • Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.
  • Foster positive work relationships.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, such as (a) working at a computer for extended periods, including on-screen reading and typing; (b) participating in digital/virtual conference calls; (c) participating in meetings as needed.
  • Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 4-5 years of experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of litigation experience, preferably gained while practicing at an AmLaw 100 firm.
  • Strong academic background from nationally recognized schools.
  • Previous federal clerkship is a plus.
  • Class Action experience is preferred.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar in Texas.

Skills:

  • Superior writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to navigate and take ownership of multi-matter docket.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
