Antitrust/Competition Associate

A law firm seeks a skilled Antitrust/Competition Associate to join their team in Boston. This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney with 1-4 years of experience to work on complex antitrust matters, including second request investigations and merger litigations. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in regulatory matters and experience working with government agencies such as the FTC and DOJ. Duties:

• Advise clients on complex antitrust and competition issues, including mergers, acquisitions, and regulatory investigations.
• Manage and conduct second request investigations, including liaising with government agencies.
• Represent clients in high-stakes litigation against regulatory bodies, including the FTC, DOJ, and state attorneys general.
• Draft and review legal documents, including filings and compliance materials.
• Develop strategies to address clients’ antitrust concerns and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Stay up-to-date on changes in antitrust laws, policies, and enforcement trends.

Requirements:

• 1-4 years of experience in antitrust law, particularly in the areas of second request investigations and merger litigation.
• Experience with FTC and DOJ processes is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in working on complex regulatory matters and litigation.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Massachusetts.
