Duties:

  • Perform legal research and analysis on regulatory, compliance, and transactional matters within the financial services industry.
  • Draft and review a variety of legal documents including contracts, merger and acquisition agreements, joint ventures, strategic alliances, and financial transactions.
  • Assist in due diligence for financial services transactions.
  • Provide legal counsel to clients regarding regulatory and compliance issues.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and clients to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Represent clients in structuring and negotiating strategic transactions.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in financial laws and regulations that impact clients’ interests.
  • Draft and review corporate documents, such as board resolutions, bylaws, and policies.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Wisconsin State Bar or eligibility for admission by waiver.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research and analysis.
  • Exceptional skills in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
