Job Overview: A creditor's rights law firm is seeking an experienced Foreclosure Attorney to join its team remotely. The role involves managing all aspects of mortgage foreclosure litigation, including title reviews, complaint drafting, discovery, and trial work. This position requires candidates to reside in Florida and offers opportunities to work with both large and small financial institutions.

Location:

  • Orlando, FL

Duties:

  • Manage all aspects of mortgage foreclosure litigation, including title review, complaint drafting, and motion practice.
  • Conduct discovery, mediations, trials, and execute judgments.
  • First-chair contested nonjury trials.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Assist with legal research and writing for appellate matters.
  • Work with financial institutions and investors on foreclosure cases.
  • Travel within Florida as needed (approximately 10%).

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active Florida Bar license and in good standing.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in mortgage foreclosure litigation.
  • Knowledge of real estate and/or title law is a plus.
  • Proficient in litigation and motion practice.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Bar license in the state of Florida.

Skills:

  • Strong litigation and trial experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases independently.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of mortgage foreclosure laws and procedures.
