Job Overview:

A leading law firm is currently recruiting for a Senior Associate or Counsel to join its expanding Class Action group. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in complex litigation, particularly in class action matters related to labor and employment law. The role involves managing and defending class action lawsuits, including issues such as employment discrimination, workplace privacy, wage and hour claims, and consumer fraud. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team working on innovative, high-profile cases.

Location:

  • Dallas, TX

Duties:

  • Manage and defend class action lawsuits, particularly in employment law, workplace privacy, wage and hour claims, and consumer fraud.
  • Provide strategic legal counsel to clients in complex litigation matters.
  • Draft legal documents including briefs, motions, and discovery responses.
  • Represent clients in depositions, court hearings, and trials.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals on various legal matters.
  • Keep abreast of developments in class action law and related areas to ensure high-quality legal services.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of substantive experience in complex litigation, particularly in class action defense.
  • Expertise in employment law, workplace privacy, wage and hour claims, and consumer fraud.
  • Strong experience in managing large-scale litigation independently.
  • Demonstrated excellence in legal research, writing, and advocacy.
  • Superior client management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Bar membership in Texas.

Skills:

  • Strong background in class action litigation and employment law.
  • Exceptional research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic advice.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
