First-Party Property Associate Attorney

A law firm in Orlando, FL, is seeking a dedicated and skilled First-Party Property Associate Attorney to join their litigation group. The ideal candidate will have 1-7 years of experience in first-party property law and will be responsible for managing their own cases from inception to trial. The firm values strong analytical, writing, research, and communication skills and offers a supportive environment to nurture professional growth.

Duties:

• Independently manage first-party property cases from start to finish, including all phases of litigation.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case strategies and preparation.
• Draft, review, and finalize legal documents, such as pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Represent clients in court, including preparing and presenting cases, participating in depositions, and handling trials.
• Develop and execute case strategies, negotiate settlements, and handle litigation matters effectively.
• Collaborate with the litigation team to enhance case preparation and overall case management.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, providing regular updates and managing client expectations.
• Stay up-to-date with developments in first-party property law and litigation practices.

Requirements:

• 1-7 years of experience in first-party property law.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cases through all stages of litigation.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction(s).
