A law firm in Philadelphia is seeking a Senior Business Immigration Associate Attorney with 5+ years of experience specifically in business immigration. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in I-9 Compliance, DOL, DHS, and DOJ audits, as well as nonimmigrant and immigrant visas and PERM applications.

 

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel on business immigration matters to clients.
  • Manage and oversee a wide range of immigration cases, including nonimmigrant (H1B, L-1, TN, O1, etc.) and immigrant visas.
  • Handle PERM applications and labor certification processes.
  • Conduct I-9 Compliance, DOL, DHS, and DOJ audits.
  • Represent clients in immigration proceedings before relevant agencies.
  • Advise clients on immigration law compliance and best practices.
  • Develop and implement immigration strategies to meet client objectives.
  • Supervise junior associates and support staff as needed.

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience specifically in business immigration law.
  • Extensive experience with I-9 Compliance, DOL, DHS, and DOJ audits.
  • Strong understanding of nonimmigrant and immigrant visa processes.
  • Proficiency in handling PERM applications and labor certification.
  • Excellent client service and communication skills.
  • Proven ability in case management and productivity.
  • Well-developed organizational skills.
  • Advanced writing and analytical skills.
  • Experience managing a large client base is a plus.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the Bar of the jurisdiction(s) where the candidate is admitted to practice.

  • Strong understanding of immigration regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to manage and oversee multiple immigration cases simultaneously.
