A law firm is seeking a diligent Trust and Estates Attorney to join their busy Trust & Estates Practice Group in Erie, PA. The ideal candidate will have 0-5 years of experience in trust and estate planning, administration, and related legal matters. Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
  • Advise clients on estate planning strategies, including tax implications and asset protection.
  • Assist with the administration of estates, including probate processes and trust management.
  • Represent clients in matters related to guardianships, conservatorships, and elder law.
  • Conduct legal research on complex estate planning and administration issues.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys in the Trust & Estates Practice Group on client matters.
  • Participate in client meetings, providing clear and comprehensive legal advice.
  • Manage case files efficiently, ensuring all documents and deadlines are meticulously handled.
  • Stay current with changes in trust and estate law to ensure compliance and provide accurate legal guidance.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 0-5 years of experience in trust and estate planning, administration, or related legal fields.
  • Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Bar Admission: Must be licensed to practice law and in good standing with the Pennsylvania State Bar.
  • Academic Credentials: Excellent academic record is required.
