Securities Attorney (Professional Track)

Job Overview:
A reputable law firm is currently seeking a highly skilled Securities Attorney with over 6 years of experience in managing structured securities offerings for their Investment Funds Group. This is a professional track (non-partnership track) position that requires expertise in commercial real estate law, particularly in real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions. The successful candidate will represent a range of clients including public and private real estate companies, REITs, and institutional investors. The position can be based in any of the firm’s U.S. offices, offering flexibility and growth opportunities in a collaborative, supportive work environment.

Duties:

• Manage and oversee structured securities offerings for commercial real estate transactions.
• Advise clients on real estate finance, acquisitions, dispositions, and complex restructurings.
• Represent clients in a broad range of transactions, including acquisitions, financings, and development of commercial real estate.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents related to real estate transactions.
• Conduct legal research and provide innovative solutions to complex legal issues.
• Collaborate with team members and clients to drive positive outcomes and ensure the smooth progression of transactions.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in managing structured securities offerings.
• Strong experience in commercial real estate law, with an emphasis on real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions.
• Prior experience with AmLaw 100 law firms is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex transactions and offer strategic legal counsel.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction where the position is located.
