Associate Attorney Real Estate Law

A law firm seeks an associate attorney to join its growing real estate practice in Louisville, Kentucky. This position is ideal for an attorney with 0-3 years of experience looking to expand their practice in the real estate law field.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and representation in real estate matters.
• Conduct legal research and draft a variety of documents, including contracts, briefs, and memoranda.
• Assist in real estate transactions, including residential and commercial property matters.
• Prepare and review legal documents related to property acquisition, leasing, and sales.
• Advise clients on real estate law issues and help navigate complex legal situations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide legal solutions.
• Maintain organized case files and ensure timely follow-up on client matters.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties involved in transactions.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in Kentucky (Indiana licensure is a plus).
• 0-3 years of legal experience, preferably in real estate law or related fields.
• Strong academic background with excellent research and writing skills.
• High attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• License to practice law in Kentucky (Indiana license is a plus).
