Job Overview

A prominent law firm is seeking a Junior Leveraged Finance Associate to join its finance group in New York. This role offers an opportunity to work on complex financing transactions and develop skills in leveraged finance, debt capital markets, structured finance, and project finance.

Duties

• Assist in drafting and negotiating financing agreements.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to financing transactions.
• Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, and other professionals.
• Manage competing demands and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Produce timely, accurate, and quality work products.
• Foster positive working relationships within the team.

Requirements

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Must be licensed to practice in New York.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in leveraged finance or related fields.
• Experience at an AmLaw 100 firm is preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active admission to the New York State Bar.
