Job Overview:
A leading law firm is seeking a full-time Document Review Attorney to assist with complex litigation matters. This remote position will involve reviewing and analyzing various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and court filings, to identify key information for discovery purposes. The ideal candidate will have prior document review experience and strong attention to detail, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with legal teams and work independently to meet deadlines.

Location:

Duties:

  • Conduct relevance review of defendant production documents for discovery purposes.
  • Review and analyze client documents for privilege and relevance to be produced to defendants.
  • Analyze legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and court filings to identify key terms and relevant information.
  • Conduct legal and factual research to support the document review process.
  • Prepare summaries and reports based on document review findings.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and legal teams to support negotiations and litigation processes.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in electronic document review is required.
  • Familiarity with Relativity software is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures.
  • Proficient in legal research and utilizing online databases and resources.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction (active and in good standing).
