Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, briefs, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Attend and argue motions in court hearings.
  • Prepare for and participate in depositions, mediations, and trials.
  • Stay informed on local, state, and federal statutes and laws applicable to cases.
  • Work with clients and maintain regular communication regarding case progress.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of experience in litigation, with a preference for experience in financial services or real estate litigation.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Strong understanding of procedural and evidentiary rules.
  • Experience with bankruptcy litigation preferred, but not required.
  • Proven ability to problem-solve and manage multiple cases.
  • Admitted to The Florida Bar and in good standing.
  • Highly organized with a strong work ethic.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to The Florida Bar (required).
