Duties:

  • Represent clients in immigration court and other legal proceedings, including visa processing, green card filings, and naturalization cases.
  • Advise clients on immigration options and strategies.
  • Handle a range of immigration matters including family-based, employment-based, and litigation cases.
  • Prepare and submit legal documents, including motions, briefs, and petitions.
  • Engage in legal research, writing, and case strategy.
  • Represent clients in hearings before government agencies, including the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the Executive Office of Immigration Review, and the Board of Immigration Appeals.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing legal counsel and guidance throughout the immigration process.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school or equivalent.
  • Bar Licensure to practice law in any state.
  • An interest in immigration law is essential.
  • Ability to handle complex legal issues and a rapidly changing legal environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
