The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of practice experience and be licensed to practice law in North Carolina. Duties:

  • Review and assess new cases, creating detailed action plans, budgets, and recommendations.
  • Determine pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed.
  • Prepare discovery responses and manage document production.
  • Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough and timely reports.
  • Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary.
  • Maintain consistent communication with paralegals and legal assistants to ensure smooth case progression.

Requirements:

  • 1-5 years of experience in workers' compensation law.
  • Must be licensed to practice in North Carolina.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
