Job Title: Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A prominent law firm located in Woodbury, NJ, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with at least 2 years of experience in insurance defense litigation, including general liability, premises, and related areas. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team and be responsible for independently managing a caseload from inception to resolution. Duties:

• Represent clients in a range of insurance defense matters, including general liability.
• Independently handle all aspects of litigation from inception to conclusion.
• Participate in discovery, depositions, motion practice, and oral arguments.
• Attend court conferences, and mediations, and engage in settlement negotiations.
• Prepare for and assist in trial work as needed.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing status updates and legal counsel.

Requirements:

• Must be admitted to practice in New York.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance defense and general liability litigation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple legal matters simultaneously.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admitted to the New York State Bar (mandatory).
