This role involves representing clients in environmental and energy matters before administrative bodies and handling various aspects of permitting, regulatory compliance, diligence, and transactional matters related to the energy and environmental sectors. The successful candidate will have experience in litigation, including depositions, motion practice, court appearances, and electronic discovery.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in environmental and energy matters before administrative bodies and in court.
• Handle permitting, regulatory compliance, diligence, and transactional matters related to the energy and environmental sectors.
• Conducted litigation, including depositions, motion practice, court appearances, and electronic discovery.
• Provide clients with legal advice and strategic environmental and energy issues guidance.
• Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, briefs, and motions.
• Research and analyze legal issues related to environmental and energy law.
• Manage case files and coordinate with clients and other stakeholders.
• Stay updated on changes in environmental and energy regulations and legislation.

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of experience representing clients in environmental and energy matters.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Proven experience in litigation, including handling depositions, motion practice, and court appearances.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities efficiently.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the bar in the state of New York.

Skills:
