Duties:

  • Handle all phases of products liability litigation, including drafting briefs, correspondence, and responding to discovery requests.
  • Conduct depositions, oral arguments, and expert interviews.
  • Manage document collection, review, and production related to litigation.
  • Analyze causation and failure issues in product liability matters.
  • Participate in multidistrict litigation (MDL) and coordinated state proceedings.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys to develop case strategies and support clients.
  • Provide excellent client service, ensuring timely communication and case updates.
  • Participate in team efforts to manage and resolve complex legal matters.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in products liability litigation.
  • Strong background in drafting legal documents, responding to discovery, and conducting depositions.
  • Experience in managing complex discovery processes and handling document review.
  • Familiarity with causation and failure analysis techniques.
  • Knowledge and experience with multidistrict litigation (MDL) and coordinated state proceedings is preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and case management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Active membership in the California State Bar.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admitted to the California State Bar.
