Job Title: Senior Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Denver, CO, is seeking a Senior Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in energy regulatory and/or commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, exhibit client responsiveness, show initiative, and possess extreme attention to detail. Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis of energy regulatory and commercial litigation matters.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related materials.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
  • Collaborate with regulatory colleagues and client subject matter experts to develop strategies and solutions.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on regulatory compliance matters.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to the state bar in Colorado or eligible for admission.
  • 3-5 years of experience in energy regulatory and/or commercial litigation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated client responsiveness and ability to work under pressure.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the state bar in Colorado or eligibility for admission.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research and analysis.
  • Strong drafting and writing skills.
  • Litigation experience, preferably in energy regulatory or commercial litigation.
