Associate Attorney with 3+ years of corporate or business transactions experience

A law firm in Buffalo is seeking an Associate Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of corporate or business transactions experience. The ideal candidate must be licensed to practice in the state of New York and possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and organizational skills are advantageous for this role.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and representation in corporate and business transactions
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and transactional documents
• Conduct legal research and provide analysis on various legal issues
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external parties
• Manage and organize case files and documents
• Attend meetings, hearings, and negotiations as required
• Collaborate with partners and senior associates on case strategy and client representation

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of New York
• Minimum of 3 years of corporate or business transactions experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently
• Organizational skills are a plus

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Admission to the New York State Bar
