Job Overview:

A law firm is seeking a dedicated and skilled Creditors’ Remedies, Bankruptcy, and Workout Attorney to join their dynamic team. Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in bankruptcy, creditors' remedies, and workout cases.
  • Conduct complex and detailed analysis of legal matters.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and staff via email and telephone.
  • Travel locally and statewide to attend to client needs on legal matters.
  • Present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form.
  • Negotiate effectively on behalf of clients.
  • Build and maintain successful relationships with public officials, community, and business leaders to achieve policy objectives.
  • Organize and prioritize work assignments, ensuring tasks are completed.
  • Handle multiple tasks and frequent interruptions with a sense of urgency.
  • Work well under pressure with tight deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor Degree from an accredited law school.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Preferably, bankruptcy experience through a clerkship, extensive bankruptcy clinic experience, or work in banking, lending, or finance.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities.
  • Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail.
  • Interpersonal skills to interact with diverse clients, attorneys, and staff.
  • Flexibility in schedule and adaptability to constant change.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Skill in complex problem-solving and analytical situations.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor Degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the state bar (required).
