Duties

• Handle a variety of tasks within the legal collection process, including court advocacy and out-of-court resolutions.
• Draft and review legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, and correspondence.
• Maintain clear communication with opposing counsel, clients, and pro se parties to resolve disputes and negotiate settlements.
• Research and interpret relevant laws, rulings, and regulations to form legal opinions.
• Document and manage case files in compliance with firm policies and client requirements.
• Travel to various courts as needed to manage cases throughout the litigation cycle.
• Participate in continuing education, seminars, and webinars to stay current on legal changes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality legal outcomes.

Requirements

• Active attorney license in Nebraska with no history of disciplinary actions.
• Willingness to travel to courts as necessary.
• Knowledge of consumer protection laws and civil litigation processes is preferred, but candidates with a strong interest in developing these skills are encouraged to apply.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in Nebraska (active and in good standing).

Certifications

• Admitted to the Nebraska State Bar.
