Duties:

  • Manage family-based immigration cases, humanitarian applications, and removal defense matters.
  • Represent clients in USCIS interviews and court hearings.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, providing legal guidance and support throughout the immigration process.
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys and paralegals to ensure successful case outcomes.
  • Maintain organized and detailed case files, utilizing legal technology tools.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in immigration law, specifically in family-based petitions, humanitarian cases, and/or removal defense.
  • Active U.S. Bar license.
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) to communicate complex legal matters to clients.
  • Ability to travel for court hearings and client interviews (up to 75%, NY/NJ preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills and experience using legal technology tools.
  • Excellent communication and client service skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Bar License in the United States (NY/NJ preferred).

Skills:

  • Proficiency in immigration law procedures, particularly family-based immigration, humanitarian relief, and removal defense.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Experience with legal research and case management tools.
