A law firm in Roseland, NJ is seeking a Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney with 1-4 years of litigation experience. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of workers' compensation claims involving high exposure and complex litigation.

 

Job Duties:

  • Litigate workers' compensation claims from inception through resolution
  • Handle a variety of high-exposure, complex litigation matters
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to workers' compensation laws and regulations
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance adjusters
  • Attend hearings, mediations, and other legal proceedings
  • Develop case management skills to effectively manage cases
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding workers' compensation claims
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and management
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files and records

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the State Bar of New Jersey
  • 1-4 years of litigation experience, preferably in workers' compensation
  • Strong analytical, writing, research, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the State Bar of New Jersey
