Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of tax law, with experience in real estate matters (including REITs).
  • Should have 3-6 years of experience. 
  • Excellent writing, oral communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and solve complex, often novel, tax issues.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working directly with clients and internal teams.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Top academic credentials are required.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the bar in New York, or eligibility to be admitted.

  • Expertise in tax law, particularly real estate tax and REITs.
  • Advanced research, writing, and analytical capabilities.
