Duties

• Manage a portfolio of Workers' Compensation defense cases from start to finish

• Collaborate with senior attorneys to shape case strategies and legal approaches

• Conduct comprehensive reviews and analyses of medical records to inform casework

• Draft a variety of legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and correspondence

• Maintain consistent, professional communication with clients

• Navigate responsibilities effectively in a virtual work environment

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience practicing law, preferably in a litigation or defense setting

• Proficient in legal writing, with the ability to clearly and persuasively present arguments

• Familiarity with medical records and their application in legal matters

• An active member of the Florida Bar, in good standing

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and stay organized in a remote setting

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active and valid license to practice law in Florida (Florida Bar)
