Job Overview:
A law firm in Atlanta, GA is seeking a motivated and skilled Litigation Attorney to join its litigation team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant experience and a desire to work in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment. The role involves managing cases, developing defense strategies, engaging in legal proceedings, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Duties:

• Provide expert legal advice to clients.
• Meet with individuals involved in legal processes to offer guidance and resolve issues.
• Represent clients' interests during legal proceedings.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Address and resolve concerns raised by clients.
• Manage multiple litigation projects at various stages.
• Take and defend depositions, prepare legal documents, and handle settlement negotiations.
• Provide monthly litigation reports and analyze case exposure.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in litigation.
• 1-3 years of previous insurance defense experience.
• JD from an accredited law school.
• Georgia Bar license required.
• Strong understanding of civil procedure, torts, and motion practice.
• Experience in complex litigation and legal document preparation.

Education:

• Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Georgia Bar License required.
