Duties:

• Handle a diverse caseload of employment law matters, including personal injury claims
• Independently manage all phases of litigation from start to finish, including taking and defending depositions
• Prepare and file motions, including motions for summary judgment, and oppose motions
• Represent clients in court, including hearings and trials
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft legal documents
• Oversee discovery processes and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
• Provide strategic advice to clients regarding employment law issues
• Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure case progression
• Mentor junior attorneys and assist in their professional development

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in employment law litigation
• Proven ability to take and defend depositions, manage motion, and handle complex discovery independently
• Strong litigation and writing skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal arguments clearly and effectively
• A personable and organized professional who is passionate about employment law and client advocacy
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Must have a valid Bar license in the state of California
