The Attorney will handle real estate finance matters, including loan origination, asset management, and workout experience. They will run transactions on behalf of lenders from inception through closing and post-closing, including secondary market repurchase facility work and other exit strategies.

Duties:

  • Handle real estate finance matters, including loan origination, asset management, and workout experience.
  • Run transactions on behalf of lenders from inception through closing and post-closing.
  • Manage secondary market repurchase facility work and other exit strategies.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to real estate finance law.
  • Draft and review legal documents and contracts.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • JD required.
  • 5+ years of broad real estate finance experience.
  • Solid large law firm experience practicing real estate finance law.
  • Experience in loan origination work for large structured commercial real estate finance transactions.
  • Familiarity with mezzanine loans and preferred equity.
  • Asset management and workout experience are preferred.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills.

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
