Job Overview

A prestigious law firm seeks an experienced Securities Attorney to join its Investment Funds Group. This professional-track position focuses on managing structured securities offerings and handling a broad range of transactions in real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions. The role involves representing public and private real estate companies, REITs, and institutional investors in complex financial and investment matters.

Duties

  • Manage structured securities offerings and related transactions.
  • Advise clients on real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions.
  • Handle legal matters involving REITs, institutional investors, and public/private real estate firms.
  • Draft and review financial agreements, investment documents, and regulatory filings.
  • Conduct legal research to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to provide strategic legal guidance.
  • Assist in structuring complex real estate and financial deals.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience managing structured securities offerings.
  • Strong background in commercial real estate law, with expertise in finance, acquisitions, and dispositions.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.
  • Strong business judgment and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional writing and communication abilities.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications
