This position is open to various US offices and requires a minimum of 3 years of substantive experience in real estate, focusing on acquisitions, dispositions, and financings. Familiarity with securities offerings is advantageous.

Duties

  • Handle real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.
  • Conduct legal research and apply findings to support investment funds operations.
  • Prepare, review, and manage legal documents related to real estate deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external parties to facilitate transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with firm policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Meet project deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Foster positive work relationships and effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
  • Engage in physical and sedentary work, including virtual meetings and computer-based tasks.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of real estate experience, particularly in acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.
  • Demonstrated experience with securities offerings is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and research skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.
  • Good business judgment and attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction.
