Duties:

  • Meet with prospective clients and provide legal consultations
  • Develop and coordinate case strategies
  • Oversee multiple cases, manage projects, and adhere to deadlines
  • Supervise and mentor a team of paralegals and support staff
  • Prepare, draft, and revise legal documents for court submissions
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft motions, briefs, and legal memoranda
  • Stay updated on legislative changes and evolving case law
  • Represent clients in court hearings and trials
  • Conduct marketing initiatives for the firm’s services
  • Participate in monthly Saturday shifts with opportunities for client engagement bonuses
  • Cross-sell various practice areas within the firm
  • Develop expertise in areas such as Family Petitions, Asylum, Individual Hearings, SIJIS, U-Visas, and Waivers

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Active and good-standing bar license in any U.S. state or Puerto Rico
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Fluency in Spanish
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in immigration law

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited institution

Certifications:

  • Active Bar membership in good standing in any U.S. state or Puerto Rico

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • High-level organizational and project management capabilities
  • Ability to handle a high volume of cases with attention to detail
