This role provides an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 1-4 years of litigation experience, particularly in employment law, to work on complex employment-related matters on behalf of a diverse range of clients, including corporations, municipalities, and educational institutions.

Duties:

  • Collaborate with senior litigators to develop effective litigation strategies for defending employment-related actions
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, discovery, motions, briefs, and other correspondence
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of employment records and case details
  • Represent clients in court and before administrative agencies
  • Participate in depositions, conferences, hearings, and trials
  • Work closely with employment experts to support cases
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on employment-related matters
  • Effectively communicate and interact with clients to ensure confidence and trust
  • Manage a variety of tasks and case details efficiently, ensuring timelines are met

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1-4 year of litigation experience, with a preference for experience in employment law
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
  • Active admission to the Connecticut Bar
  • Excellent legal writing, research, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Independent work ethic with the ability to collaborate within a team

Education:
