Job Overview: A prestigious law firm is seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Trial Attorney specializing in personal injury cases. Location:

Duties:

  • Represent clients in personal injury cases, including those involving catastrophic injuries with high-value settlements (six and seven figures).
  • Serve as lead counsel in at least two trials per year, with the expectation of taking cases from inception to verdict.
  • Collaborate with paralegal support to ensure efficient case management.
  • Participate in trial preparation, including case strategy, witness preparation, and courtroom advocacy.
  • Manage an active caseload of personal injury cases, providing legal advice and representation to clients.
  • Contribute to the growth and success of the legal team by providing exceptional client service and results.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of personal injury trial experience.
  • Proven track record of handling high-value personal injury cases.
  • Ability to serve as lead counsel and successfully take cases to trial.
  • Strong commitment to client service and obtaining justice for clients.
  • Excellent communication and advocacy skills.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in Illinois and/or Missouri.

Skills:

  • Strong trial advocacy and courtroom skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and writing abilities.
