Duties:

  • Manage a diverse caseload, focusing on family-based immigration cases, including T visas and VAWA cases.
  • Engage directly with clients, providing exceptional customer service and legal advice to undocumented Mexicans and Central Americans.
  • Handle a large volume of cases, ensuring the highest research, writing, and case strategy standards.
  • Lead and manage a dedicated team, maintaining the firm's 100% success rate in filings.
  • Provide legal representation in court and before governmental agencies as required.
  • Stay updated on immigration laws and policies to provide accurate legal advice and representation.
  • Prepare and file legal documents, including petitions, applications, and supporting evidence.
  • Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure comprehensive case management.
  • Advocate for clients’ rights and work to achieve the best possible outcomes for their cases.

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in the United States.
  • Ideally, 3+ years of experience in immigration law.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage both a team and a large caseload.
  • Strong passion for humanitarian immigration options and supporting victims of labor trafficking and extreme cruelty.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Membership in good standing with the relevant state bar association.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
