The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in family law, including drafting and presenting legal pleadings and motions. Location:

Duties:

  • Manage and oversee administrative assistants, paralegals, and law clerks.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence.
  • Conduct legal research and draft briefs, motions, and pleadings for family law cases.
  • Provide legal counsel by assessing case options and determining the best course of action.
  • Develop case strategies and solutions to meet client needs.
  • Manage client communications and case status updates.
  • Oversee billing, client meetings, and completion of client projects in coordination with paralegals and staff.
  • Prepare and present cases in court, including representing clients at trials when necessary.
  • Assist in content creation for social media marketing, as the firm is actively involved in this area.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • 3-5 years of experience in divorce and family law, including litigation experience.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage a heavy caseload independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, Lexis).
