Associate Attorney

A law firm in Paramus is currently seeking an experienced Associate Attorney with 4-10 years of experience. The candidate will join a team of vastly experienced trial attorneys working on significant and complex litigation matters. The role entails various responsibilities, such as drafting legal documents, attending court appearances, and participating in depositions, emphasizing the importance of excellent writing skills.

Duties:

• Collaborate with a team of experienced trial attorneys on significant and complex litigation cases.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Attend court appearances and effectively argue motions.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Manage and organize case-related tasks and responsibilities.
• Utilize trial experience in handling litigation matters.
• Maintain excellent writing skills for effective legal communication.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Bar in New York and New Jersey.
• 4-10 years of legal experience, with a focus on significant and complex litigation.
• Trial experience is preferable.
