Job Overview:
A reputable law firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Workers Compensation Attorney to join its team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a professional environment with a focus on providing excellent service to clients in the areas of workers compensation claims and personal injury. The ideal candidate will have experience handling workers compensation cases and demonstrate strong client relationship skills.

Location:

Duties:

  • Open new files and establish initial client contact, maintaining consistent communication with clients
  • Investigate and gather relevant documents for each case, entering pertinent information into the case management database
  • Verify insurance coverage and liability issues, maintaining communication with insurance companies
  • Manage client medical care by coordinating with clients and medical providers, scheduling appointments, and explaining medical procedures and documentation
  • Monitor case status, review medical records, and manage client expectations
  • Organize and maintain case files for submission to demand writers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, associates, and vendors

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in Workers Compensation law
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational, customer service, and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to develop positive relationships with clients, field associates, and vendors
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Ability to work on the phone for extended periods
  • Reliable and consistent attendance
  • Knowledge of medical and insurance terminology is a plus
  • Spanish-speaking skills are a plus

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited university
  • Georgia Bar Admission required
