A law firm in Westlake Village, CA, is seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney who excels in a courtroom setting and can independently manage a diverse portfolio of cases. The ideal candidate will handle all aspects of litigation from inception to resolution, providing strategic legal advice and representing clients in various legal proceedings.

Duties:

• Manage all aspects of litigation, including case strategy, preparation, and resolution.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediation, and arbitration.
• Provide strategic legal advice and guidance on litigation and dispute resolution matters.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop and implement effective case strategies.
• Maintain comprehensive case files and ensure timely and accurate documentation.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar.
• Proven track record of managing complex litigation cases independently.
• 6+ years of litigation experience in areas such as employment defense, real estate, construction, and commercial law.
• Strong advocacy skills with significant courtroom experience.
