Duties

• Represent clients in a broad range of family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, and protection from abuse.

• Appear in court regularly to advocate for clients’ interests.

• Manage case files from intake through resolution, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and preparing legal arguments.

• Provide legal advice and counsel to union members and their families under group legal plans.

• Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas as needed, including on cases related to immigration, criminal law, estates, and consumer rights.

• Engage in regular communication with clients, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

• Participate in firm initiatives including continuing legal education and community legal programs.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.

• Experience in family law, including litigation.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a full caseload.

• Willingness to travel occasionally to nearby New Jersey offices.

• Strong courtroom advocacy skills and familiarity with local court procedures.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar membership in Pennsylvania (required).

• New Jersey Bar admission (preferred).
