Job Overview:

A leading law firm is seeking a Staff Attorney with 2-5 years of experience in business immigration matters. This role involves handling employment-based immigration cases, including EB-1, PERM, H-1B, L-1, E-1 and E-2, O-1, and EB-5 petitions. The position offers the flexibility of a fully remote or hybrid work arrangement from office in Roseland, NJ.

Location:

Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of employment-based immigration matters.

  • Prepare and file petitions, applications, and supporting documentation for various visa categories, including EB-1, PERM, H-1B, L-1, E-1 and E-2, O-1, and EB-5.

  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on immigration laws and policies.

  • Advise corporate clients and individuals on immigration strategies and compliance.

  • Communicate with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders regarding case progress.

  • Ensure timely and accurate case management in a high-volume practice.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing employment-based immigration law.

  • Experience working in a high-volume business immigration practice.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent proofreading, editing, and time management skills.

  • Fluency in Mandarin is a plus.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of business immigration processes and regulations.

  • Strong legal research and analytical skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
