Duties

  • Offer comprehensive legal advice on healthcare regulatory compliance to various healthcare providers and specialty practices.
  • Interpret and ensure adherence to federal and state healthcare regulations, such as HIPAA, Stark Law, and Anti-Kickback Statute.
  • Represent clients before regulatory bodies like HHS, CMS, and state healthcare agencies.
  • Manage healthcare-related transactions, compliance audits, and investigations.
  • Collaborate with other legal experts on multidisciplinary cases.
  • Stay current with evolving healthcare laws and implement necessary compliance strategies for clients.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience practicing healthcare regulatory law.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state healthcare laws, including but not limited to HIPAA, Stark Law, and Anti-Kickback Statute.
  • Experience working with regulatory agencies such as HHS, CMS, and relevant state authorities.
  • Proven track record of advising healthcare providers on compliance, risk management, and regulatory matters.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active Bar membership in good standing.
