A distinguished law firm based in Hackensack, NJ, is seeking a highly experienced Healthcare Regulatory Attorney to join its legal team. The role is focused on providing regulatory counsel and compliance advice to a broad spectrum of healthcare clients, including providers, specialty practices, and other related entities. This position offers an opportunity to handle complex regulatory matters in both federal and state healthcare law.

Duties

• Offer comprehensive legal advice on healthcare regulatory compliance to various healthcare providers and specialty practices.
• Interpret and ensure adherence to federal and state healthcare regulations, such as HIPAA, Stark Law, and Anti-Kickback Statute.
• Represent clients before regulatory bodies like HHS, CMS, and state healthcare agencies.
• Manage healthcare-related transactions, compliance audits, and investigations.
• Collaborate with other legal experts on multidisciplinary cases.
• Stay current with evolving healthcare laws and implement necessary compliance strategies for clients.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience practicing healthcare regulatory law.
• In-depth knowledge of federal and state healthcare laws, including but not limited to HIPAA, Stark Law, and Anti-Kickback Statute.
• Experience working with regulatory agencies such as HHS, CMS, and relevant state authorities.
• Proven track record of advising healthcare providers on compliance, risk management, and regulatory matters.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Bar membership in good standing.
