Corporate / Securities Partner

The ideal candidate will possess a portable book of business worth at least $750,000. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and expand a substantial book of business in corporate and securities law.
• Provide clients with expert legal advice and representation on complex securities transactions and corporate matters.
• Oversee public and private securities offerings, including IPOs, secondary offerings, and private placements.
• Advise clients on compliance with securities regulations, including SEC filings and reporting requirements.
• Develop and implement legal strategies for mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructuring.
• Lead and mentor junior attorneys and legal staff within the corporate and securities practice group.
• Maintain and enhance client relationships through exceptional service and strategic legal counsel.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and corporate governance matters.
• Stay current with corporate and securities laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide the most effective legal strategies.
• Collaborate with other partners and practice groups to leverage the firm’s full capabilities for client benefit.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.
• A portable book of business valued at $750,000 or more.
• Extensive experience in corporate and securities law.
• Proven track record of managing complex securities transactions and corporate matters.
• Strong leadership and mentorship abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in securities law.
