Job Title: Litigation Attorney

Job Location: West Palm Beach, FL

Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of winning cases, including a minimum of 2 jury trials as first chair, and the ability to manage a large and active caseload from filing through verdict. This role involves significant client interaction, courtroom appearances, and collaboration with a team of legal professionals.

Job Duties:

• Meet with clients and file lawsuits
• Propound and respond to written discovery
• Schedule and attend fact witness depositions
• Retain all appropriate experts and attend all expert depositions
• Schedule and attend all hearings
• Prepare for and attend mediations
• Prepare cases for trial and try cases to verdict
• Prepare and file appropriate post-trial motions
• Attend file audits, litigation attorney meetings, and trial clinics

Requirements:

• A license in good standing to practice law in Florida
• A proven track record of winning, including a minimum of 2 jury trials as first chair
• The ability to handle a large and active caseload from filing through verdict
• Success in providing direction and guidance to a team of staff

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Florida Bar
