Job Overview:

Duties:

• Draft legal documents such as letters, memos, motions, orders, and pleadings.
• Assist in preparing lead attorneys for hearings.
• Oversee case management and ensure all deadlines are met.
• Collaborate with paralegals and legal support staff to coordinate discovery efforts.
• Conduct in-depth legal research on various topics relevant to ongoing cases.

Requirements:

• 0-5 years of experience as a litigation attorney.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• A proactive attitude with the ability to adapt quickly to new challenges.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
• Graduated cum laude or higher.
• Ranked in the top 25% of the law school class.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Florida Bar or ability to gain admittance.

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal research and writing, with top marks in law school for these courses.
• Experience with legal software such as Clio (preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently from a remote location, with a reliable internet connection and a distraction-free workspace.
