Duties:

  • Conduct due diligence, legal research, and document drafting for mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate finance transactions.
  • Assist in negotiating and drafting transactional documents, including purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, and financing documents.
  • Manage client relationships and communicate directly with clients on transactional matters.
  • Provide legal advice and support on corporate governance and regulatory compliance issues.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex corporate transactions and strategic initiatives.
  • Participate in business development activities and client presentations.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New Jersey (NJ) or Connecticut (CT) Bar in good standing.
  • 3-5 years of experience in corporate and transactional law, preferably focusing on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate finance, and corporate governance.
  • Experience in the healthcare and life sciences sectors is desirable.
