Job Overview

A law firm is seeking a motivated and experienced Real Estate and Finance Associate Attorney to join its team in Buffalo, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling various commercial real estate and complex middle-market commercial lending transactions. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong academic credentials, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Duties

• Handle various commercial real estate transactions, including commercial leasing, purchasing and sale transactions, and large-scale property review due diligence projects.
• Represent clients, including borrowers and lenders, in complex middle-market commercial lending transactions.
• Draft and negotiate transactional documents.
• Conduct comprehensive title examinations and survey analyses to identify potential issues or risks related to real estate properties.
• Perform due diligence on real estate and finance transactions.

Requirements

• 2-6 years of experience in commercial real estate and finance transactions.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong academic credentials.

• Proficiency in drafting and negotiating transactional documents.
• Ability to conduct thorough title examinations and survey analyses.
